Time: 10am - 3pm
Registration and light refreshments start at 9am. Do come early to meet the everyone else.
Bring Your Laptops! There will be power plugs and wireless access (Wireless@SG). If you are a blogger, we invite you to blog and link our site back to yours. More details will be up at our media page soon.
Punctuality
The event starts at 10am sharp. Yes, we will be opening the event at 10am! Which means that you will want to be comfortably sited at 950am. That will also mean that you should come for registration before 930am.
As the event venue (The Pod) is only accessible via a VIP lift, you should note that getting in and out of the venue is a tricky business. Do help us out in assisting you to guiding you to the venue in the fastest manner possible by arriving early.
Participating
As you may have already know, this event is about you and the speakers. Here is where you can come in -
Pre-Conference
We have created a page called Shape the Conversation whereby you can leave your thoughts on how the conference should go. Tell us what topics should be discussed during the World Cafe sessions. Clue in our speakers on what topics should be discussed during the Open Space sessions.
During the Conference
We will create a warm, friendly atmosphere conducive for discussions. Be prepared though for a speaker who will challenge the way you think. Stay open-minded!
There will be numerous opportunities for conversations and getting-to-knows. Breaks are aplenty and we are even including lunch. Remember to bring your namecards!
Post-Conference
You will be immediately added to our discussion mailing list. This email list is different from the one that you are familiar with (the Announce list). Email us if you want to use another email address other than the one you signed up with or if you do not want to be included in the discussion mailing list.
Keeping in Touch
We trust that we are doing something special. We have a very special audience and we are of the opinion that together we can do so much more. Let us know if you have ideas of how you, our audience, can continue these meaningful conversations.
Help Us Continue
If you like our event and what we are doing, help us defray our costs by making a donation. All donations will be held in trust by Kelvin Quee. All donations will go towards our expenses. Any excess will go towards funding the next event.
We will provide a box for you to drop your contributions. Make all cheques payable to “Quee Yew Hao Kelvin”.
