We all have our feelings towards this 650sqkm of land. I would like to think that we are in an exciting moment here in Singapore, with lots of new developments coming up, both physically and socially. We are building the IRs, new urban developments in Marina and elsewhere. Socially, we have bloggers who might become more active, and it might be possible to see new political developments arise. While all the time we are facing with external challenges, especially the rise of both India and China, while within, we face a aging population and a brain drain. It might be tough to survive now, but it'll tougher in the future if we don't think something now. The thing is, is it worth ourselves to work (social activism, research, NS, vote, simply working at our jobs) however we can for this 650sqkm of land and for its future?

I think that in these times, we need to define our identity and ask ourselves whether if there's any worth in being a Singaporean, ask ourselves why we love and why we hate Singapore...
